Meet the Artist Spotlight: tenor Anthony Heinemann. Anthony will be playing the role of Savonarola in our upcoming World Premiere of Borgia Infami.

Anthony just finished a busy season performing with Union Avenue Opera as The Mayor in Albert Herring, in the ensemble of UAO’s Carousel, and with St. Louis Symphony Chorus in Der fliegende Holländer. Last year Anthony was a Young Artist with Ash Lawn Opera, toured with Opera for the Young as Tamino in The Magic Flute, and sang Lorenzo in Bolcom’s comedy, Lucrezia with Gateway Opera. Anthony is also a 2015 finalist in the Kurt Weill Foundation’s prestigious Lotte Lenya Competition. Previous appearances with Winter Opera include Curzio in Le nozze di Figaro and Spoletta in Tosca.
