Winter Opera St. Louis

Winter Opera St. Louis is a non-profit organization whose mission is to provide St. Louis with world-class operatic performances during the winter months. Our work features nationally and internationally known artists, performing classic operas in their original languages, with English subtitles. We also highlight local performers and strengthen the local artist community year-round through community outreach programs and workshops. We are committed to enhancing public appreciation and support of opera in St. Louis and to preserving the beauty of this art form for generations to come.

Winter Opera is proud to announce our first full opera of Season 14, Puccini's SUOR ANGELICA.
March 19-21 at the new Kirkwood Performing Arts Center.

Because of our deep concern for the health and safety of our staff and patrons, we decided earlier this season to postpone all operas until we knew that we could produce these shows in a safe way. We have been working diligently to create a plan that will allow us to produce this opera in a safe, socially-distanced environment at Kirkwood Performing Arts Center and this March, Winter Opera St. Louis will once again produce a full opera!

Winter Opera is proud to announce our next upcoming dinner concert, Let's Do Something for Love.

If you are looking for a special way to celebrate Valentine's Day this year, we would love for you to join us at Dominic's on the Hill on Tuesday, February 9 or Wednesday, February 10 at 7:00pm for an elegant evening of dinner and music celebrating LOVE.

Tickets to the event are $80 and include four-course dinner, Valentine's Day concert, gratuity and tax. Beverages not included.

Winter Opera would like to thank everyone who attended A Thankful Afternoon this past Sunday at Kirkwood Performing Arts Center.

It has been a long journey leading up to this performance, but we were delighted to once again share live music with all of our patrons. We hope to continue providing safe, socially-distanced opportunities for our St. Louis audiences to enjoy opera and live music.
