Winter Opera St. Louis is excited to announce that its new performance home beginning Season 14 will be the new Kirkwood Performing Arts Center. The Center includes a main stage theatre that seats 525 people, a 2,000 square-foot event space, spacious upper and lower level lobbies connected by a grand staircase, a 3,000 square-foot Studio Theatre, and community and artistic support spaces. This new partnership will provide our organization with stability and strengthen our fiscal responsibility through a long term contract. Making Kirkwood our new home and becoming part of a professional theater will facilitate and nurture growth for our organization as we can confidently plan for our future. This move also allows us to offer more performances dates to our productions, deepening our mission to enhance public appreciation and support of opera in St. Louis and to preserving the beauty of this art form.
Valet parking, day-of ticket purchases, and refreshments will still be available during each performance.
